Alappuzha Beach:

Alapuzha (Alleppey) is the most visited tourists spot in Kerala. There is a pier built near the sea shore is about 150 years old. Beach is furnished with lot of natural green beauties like lagoons, lakes and numerous fresh water rivers. Azhapuzha is considered to be the Kerala's natural wonderland. It is covered with dense palm groves at one end. It is a sandy beach. There is a park called Vijaya Beach Park and an old Lighthouse is present nearby for entertaining the visitors. The beauty of Vijaya Beach Park is added with children's park and boating facilities

Bekal Beach:

Bekal village is located on the coast of Arabian Sea and it is present 64 km to the south of Mangalore. The visitor’s attraction in this beach is Centuries Old Fort, Virgin Beach and Pristine Backwaters. This is the only authorized tourism area by Government of India. Now the Bekal Village is growing as a fast developing international beach destination. The Bekal with its natural amenities is highly attracted along with number of ancient temples, forts, serene backwaters, scenic mountain ranges and various festivals. In Kasargod District of Kerala, Bekal Fort is the largest fort. The major attraction of this fort is that the fort faces the Arabian Sea. It is present in between the two classical palm fringed beaches

Beypore Beach:

Beypore Beach is found on the mouth of the river Chaliyar, flowing in Kozhikode disrtict, Beypore. Beypore is considered to be the important trading center with prominent ports and the fishing harbour. In ancient time Beypore was largely visited by merchants from Western Asia for the ship building industry. The traditional trading vessel of Arabia called Uru was consrtucted in the boat building yard of Beypore

Cherai Beach:

Cherai is the best clean golden beach of Kerala which is 15 km long and right now it is called as “The Princess of the Queen of the Arabian Sea”. It is located 45 km away from Ernakulam city. This beach is found at the border of Vypeen Island and this beach is the right choice for swimming. Dolphins are also seen here sometimes. The attraction can be added with paddy fields and the coconut groves. Now the charm of the beach can be increased with the Highmask lamps. Another famous attraction with this beach is the availability of fresh sea foods

Dharmadam Beach

Dharmadam is one of the beautiful beaches in Kerala. It is located 17 km away from Kannur. In earlier days Dharmadam was also called as Dharmapattanam which was treated as a Buddhist stronghold. A small island of around 5-acre fully covered with coconut palm and the greeny bushes is seen from the beach. During the low tide one can reach the island from the beach just through walk. This is surrounded by fresh and clean rivers. One has to get permission to enter the island as it is privately owned

Kappad Beach

Kappad Beach has historical link, where Vasco-da-Gama first landed on 27th May 1498 along with 170 fellowmen in three vessels. This historic event is commemorated by the monument in the beach. Beach is studded with rocks which are locally called as Kappakadavu. The beach having the rock temple is believed to be 800 years old. Beach is located 16 km away from Koahikode also called as Calicut. The beach can also be reached by a backwater ride through the Korappuzha River

Kovalam Beach

The world-famous beach resort Kovalam is the favourite tourist spot to all visitors since 1930s. The golden sands in the beach were finely fringed with the lovely coconut palms. The beach is thronged with foreigners for Ayurvedic parlors, yoga and meditation centers which is spread over the place. There are lot of beach resorts are present in and around Kovalam. The famous sea port Vizhinjam is situated 3 km away from Kovalam which is famous for special kind of fishes, ancient Hindu Temples, big Churches and Muslin Shrines. From the ancient Hippy Era Kovalam beach has more tourist attractions because of its glory. Marari Beach

The most fabulous sandy beach with palm groves is located in the Spice Coast. Spice Coast needs just an hour from Cochin and also near to Alleppey (also termed as Alapuzzha). The name Marari comes from Mararikulam, a traditional fishing village where the men daily goes to sea to catch fish for their life
